For most couples planning their wedding day, they have a very good idea of how they see their wedding and we find are flowers are high up on their list of priorities, all weddings are different and prices vary depending on your flower choices, with this in mind we offer two services our Bespoke & Bijou, so that there is something for everyone.

We recommend that we arrange a telephone consultation initially so that we can help you decide which service is for you, if you would like to arrange this then email us using our contacts page.

We have a minimum spend for our Bespoke Bridal party flowers (bouquets and buttonholes ) of £500 and venue flowers of £400. With our Bespoke Service, we offer an initial consultation in Ashford to discuss your ideas, and we will work with you to decide on designs and styling. We have lots of inspiration in the form of magazines and examples of our previous work to help refine ideas.

Once you have decided to go ahead and we have received your booking fee we then send you a mood-board of all the ideas discussed along with an itemised estimate so that you have full visibility of the cost of your flowers, we keep in regular contact as your ideas develop. We can also arrange a venue visit to discuss the plans there, it’s a good opportunity to measure up and refine your order. We contact you again, about 2-months before the wedding, to finalise the order and ensure that everything is just as you want it.

A £250 non-refundable booking fee is required to guarantee your booking and will be deducted from your final invoice which is sent out about six weeks before the wedding.

How much do wedding flowers cost?

Here at The Wedding Flower Company, we offer two different options when it comes to pricing… you can either choose from our Bespoke Wedding Day Service, where we can tailor and design your flowers to suit your wedding day or if you are on a budget we offer our Bijou Service.

Bespoke Wedding Flowers, Please note there is a minimum spend of £500 for Bridal Bouquets, Buttonholes, and Bridesmaid Flowers and £400 for Venue/Ceremony Flowers. With our bespoke service, we like to meet you at our studio in Ashford to talk through your plans and ideas so that we can give you an accurate estimate.

Our ‘Bijou’ service is tailored to the smaller wedding or clients who are on a tight budget but still want stunning wedding flowers, you can shop online and select from a range of colour options and a number of bouquets, buttonholes and also table centre pieces.

Do you charge for an initial consultation?

We offer a free consultation with our bespoke package at our studio in Ashford. The consultation is friendly and fun, packed with advice, pictures, and information. It’s our ‘fact finding’ meeting, a chance for us to find out all about your plans and how we can assist you.

If you would like us to visit you, we are happy to do so, however, there is a charge of £100 to cover our time and travel, but it is refundable against any bespoke package over £750

What information will you need from us?

We will need the date, time and venue of your wedding. All other information can be gathered along the way. It would be good to know if you have a colour scheme or theme in mind, colour samples are great and any pictures or ideas you may have are useful but not essential.

Do you require a booking fee?

Yes, a £250 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. The deposit is deducted from your final invoice, which is sent to you six weeks prior to the wedding. Your balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to your wedding day.

How soon should we book a florist?

We recommend early consultations to book your preferred florist as dates get booked up a year in advance. You don’t need to have every detail in place, decisions about your flowers can be finalised nearer to your wedding date, but it’s good to book ahead so that you have your florist in place.

Please note that whilst we are happy to have you decide on final flowers for your big day nearer to the day it’s self, we must know at least 3 months prior to your wedding day, and that for invoicing and booking purposes any undecided flower pricing will assume the minimum spends of £500 for bridal party flowers and £400 for wedding venue flowers and the final price will be confirmed once we have your final flower order.

What happens at set up on the wedding day?

Timings are agreed with you before the day so that we fit in with other suppliers on the day. All venue flowers will be set up a few hours before your wedding so that they are looking perfect for your arrival. Bouquets will be delivered to the bride in plenty of time.

How far do you travel?

All over Kent and sometimes further. We may make a small delivery charge to cover expenses depending on the location but only if its outside of Kent.

Can you decorate churches?

Yes absolutely if the church allows this. Sometimes there are rules that the Church likes us to follow so it is worth asking them first to check their policy regarding flowers.

Can you do a mock up of my flowers before the big day?

We work especially hard to give you a really good feel for how your flowers will look on the day. We make a mood-board to make sure that we have understood your requirements and if we have a wedding fair before your wedding then we can make a mock up of your bouquet for you to come and see during the day as it will be shown on our stand.

Alternatively, if you would like to have the wedding bouquet made up ahead of the wedding day, then we can do this, but there will be a charge for this and the bouquet must be collected from our studio in Ashford.

If we decide to go with your 'Bijou' service can you deliver

Unfortunately, in order to be able to offer the Bijou service, we have had to cut elements that are standard as part of the Bespoke service, so that we can keep our prices and costs down.
